Villa La Angostura has rivers and lakes known worldwide for the quantity and quality of their fishing, housing a great variety of salmonids, rainbow, brown and fontinallis trout. The fishing season begins in November and ends in May. There are many places where this activity can be carried out in any of its modalities: spinning, trolling, fly cast or fly fishing, catch and return.

Some of the most recommended places are the Río Bonito, Río Ragintuco, Río La Estacada, Río Totoral, Río Pire-Co (road to Chile), Río Ruca Malen (Road of the Seven Lakes), Río Correntoso, Lake Espejo, Lake Correntoso and Nahuel Huapi Lake.

It is a fundamental requirement of this activity to possess the corresponding fishing permit, issued by National Parks.

Just 3.7 km from our complex is the Ruka Kuyen golf course, 9 holes par 3, of excellent quality and design. Framed in a beautiful landscape, surrounded by a great variety of the typical flora of the area and with views of Cerro Bayo.

An opportunity both for lovers of this sport and for those who would like to experience an approach to this practice.

Navigating the waters of Lake Nahuel Huapi is the most recommended way to get to know it. There are different ways of carrying it out, sailing or motor sailing, in large boats such as catamarans that leave from the port, or something more reserved such as rides in small boats.

They depart regularly from Bahía Mansa, Bahía Brava and Bahía Manzano, and they will take you sailing the Nahuel Huapi Lake to various destinations, as well as the renowned Arrayanes Forest.

It is one of the main activities in the area with an ideal setting to travel the most diverse trails and with varied levels of difficulty. Some possibilities are the old road to Lake Espejo, the path to the Arrayanes Forest or the Picada Fonseca. Ask for offers on bike rental.

One of the favorite excursions to do in Villa La Angostura. Different routes, different durations, all prepared to enjoy in total contact with nature.

There are various itineraries, from short walks lasting a few hours and others that include spending the night in the mountains to experience an overnight stay surrounded by Patagonian forest.

Among the routes you can find horseback riding to Cerro Belvedere, Cerro Inacayal, Cajón Negro, Río Bonito, among others.

For these sports enthusiasts, a brick dust tennis court with unparalleled views of Lake Nahuel Huapi is located in the vicinity of our complex. In case of rain and to make alternative plans, it is located 4.5 km away in the Las Balsas neighborhood, the covered tennis court of Jean Pierre, and the squash courts.

For those interested in paddle boarding, the Patagonia Paddle courts are located in El Mercado in the center of the town.

Just 10 km from our complex is the Cerro Bayo Ski Boutique, one of the most exclusive winter resorts in Argentine Patagonia, surrounded by forests and with a spectacular view of Lake Nahuel Huapi.

Cerro Bayo offers tracks with different levels of difficulty for skiing and snowboarding, ideal for those who want to learn any of these sports or for those who already have an advanced level.

It also offers other alternatives such as Snowpark and Snow Tubbing.

This is one of the main activities to do in Villa La Angostura throughout the year.

Our complex is strategically located on the banks of the Río Bonito. From its garden it has a private access to the river, where you can take a low difficulty path suitable for the whole family, well known in the area. It runs through the entire river, surrounded by native vegetation and beautiful landscapes, until its mouth at Lake Nahuel Huapi.

In turn, there are many circuits to choose according to the different levels of difficulty. They can be done independently along marked paths, or hire specialized mountain guides if you try to undertake more difficult journeys.

Some of the best-known circuits are: Bosque de los Arrayanes and Quetrihue Viewpoints, Cajón Negro, Belvedere Viewpoint, Inacayal Waterfall, Bonito River Waterfall, Angostura-Traful Crossing (Andean Footprint Section), Ñivinco Waterfall, Last Hope Arm and Coihue del Abuelo , Camino Viejo, Cerro Mirador, Cascada Dora and Santa Ana.
